Your last loved one in the world has contracted a deadly disease that can spread to you. To take care of her/him before she/he passes would certainly mean your death, but if you don't no one else will.
What would you do in this situation if this happened to you?

I thought of the exact same scene while reading the OP.

what a tough question. My last loved one... would I want to go on with out anyone I loved? If it were my kids I would take care of them and gladly give my life for theirs. If it was my husband.. lets hope he hasn't overly annoyed me that day

There might be a reason that they are my "last" loved one.
