I spent 12 hours ridin' pine (the bench seat, ya degenerates) in the Pueblo County Jail. It sucked balls. stupid traffic ticket. Payment got lost, I got a warrant, car battery died whilst I was living in my car, I called road side assistance on my cell phone (yes, I was homeless living in my car and had a cell phone. It was 1995, I was 19 and kind of an idiot), they sent out a cop instead of a tow truck. He runs me, finds the warrant. He did offer to turn around so I could remove any items I didn't want to be found with. That was pretty cool. All my stuff was in the car, so I didn't need to, but I appreciated the offer. $100 bond. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a bondsman to bond you out for $100? I have $75 in cash, they wouldn't take a credit card. Had to be cash. Changed my life, I can tell you that.

I was in college, was supposed to have an apartment with a friend of a friend. Dude turned out to be the biggest ahole I have ever met, lied about everything he ever told me. total pos. That's why I was living in my car.

Oh, man, I don't know what to say. I know kids will be kids, but you could have whined and pissed and moaned about how all this was everybody else's fault but yours and just continued down that road. Instead you picked yourself up, scraped the gravel (or splinters are it were :wink2:) outta your butt and made something of yourself. I've read enough of your posts to know your a pretty solid, pretty squared away fella. I know you don't know me from Adam (or Eve, for that matter LOL) but I'm proud of you! Congrats!!

BB- yes, I made a big change in that respect. It was a fork in the road and you have to make a choice. It took me a couple of weeks to get myself out of the bad situation I was in, and a couple of more instances that further ingrained how stupid I had been. Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way. And thanks for saying that, I do my best.

Biker- No, if I had owned my Buick back then it would have been destroyed! It was in a POS '83 Toyota Tercel (but it did have shaved door handles...) total crap box. I wrecked it about 2 months later.
