I need to try some other brands, I have just recently been using Surefire also and although I thought they were lasting pretty good at about 2 months I am now wondering if Im getting good life. thanks for the info

I'll second the Panasonics. I don't use my Fenix lights a whole lot and don't need to change batteries often. I usually go over a year on each set of this batch of Panasonics. Also my TK11 in my truck has a 18650 in it and it's the same story, hardly ever need to swap out to the spare. They'll probably go bad without having ever been stressed.

Ray-O-Vac - cheaper by the dozen. Have 1 in my laser, almost 2 yrs old. and 2 in my Streamlight over 2 yrs old.

Any good quality lithium battery will have a shelf life of 10 yrs. This means they will test at 85% charge minimum. It sounds like you got some knock-offs or just a bad set. IMHO
