thanks... been considering making an extension out of leather.
so it can double as a ammo holder inside.

since it's intended duty is a critter/food getter... scope may not be necessary. open sights with 452 Scout at 50 yds is plenty accurate for rabbit, etc.

CY:

Add a slip-on recoil pad to the scout to make your LOP correct for scope use.

thanks... just purchased a 452 Varmint ... figured I'd better jump on one while they are still in stock. prefer to buy used, but can't seem to find anyone willing to turn loose their 452 varmint.

word is CZ is no longer shipping 452 American with std size barrel.
still shipping 452 with 16in threaded barrels.

evidently CZ is winding down 452 production in favor of 455
your scope has to be re-calibrated with each change anyways.
much rather have a single purpose gun vs a multi-caliber.

I own two CZ 452's. I've got a 22lr & a .17m2. Both are shooters. Wish I had a full stock. It is an addiction.

when 452 varmint arrives... that will be two 452. my CZ 550 varmint in .308 has not been out for awhile.
