No luck in the spare spring stash, either. So, I knocked things apart, removed the factory spring, then removed the adjusting nut and its washer. Then I reinstalled the factory spring on its stud and put her back together, without the adjusting nut and washer. I now have a decent trigger, with a fair amount of creep. We'll see how it goes...
ETA: another spring change, and I have a superb trigger on the little CZ.
