Finally took the CBOB out for a range workout. Prior to this I had only taken it out to blast some cans for break-in and function check.
Started off with a couple mags at fairly rapid fire at center of a silhouette target. Trigger was crisp and could feel the smoothness of the slide as it worked back and forth. I was warmed up so I sent out a target to see if I could knock the bullseye out.
Here's the result:
I'm a decent shot and can get a group like that with a nice S&W revolver but for a 1911 that was a really good group for me. I ran the target back and looked at it with excitement.
I'm very pleased with the quality and function of the CBOB. Next up will be a 25 yard rested accuracy check.
Ammo:
45acp
5.1 grains W231
200 gr LSWC Missouri Bullet Co
CCI primers
Mixed Brass
2009 CBOB:
Thuya Burl, satin finish grips
Ed Brown checkered MSH
Trigger job by Clark Custom
Shooter:
Big Smile!
I know you guys love pics so here's the CBOB with a new rig by Monica Kuehn of Dallas.
