Here we go again....

Dec 16, 2015 H. R. 4269: To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.

It would ban all ARs, AKs, Thompsons, and lots more.

By definition the right to keep and bear arms is unlimited as it "shall not be infringed" Someone needs to teach Congress how to comprehend English......

The Founding Fathers wrote the Second Amendment in a fashion to hold the Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms unlimited. It was accepted by the people in that fashion when the Second Amendment was ratified. If anything, the power of the government to arm itself is limited to the whims of Congress. The Feral Government is also restrained to budget no more than two years toward that end (Except for the Navy). Besides, Congress has neither the power over any part of the Constitution to alter its meaning; set limits on the Constitution; nor govern beyond the powers it has been granted, or exceed the limits set, in the Constitution.

Oh, and don't think for a moment that those in Congress can't comprehend English. They simply wish to ignore what the Constitution says in deference to their agenda.
