This was the first deer I’ve shot with it. Done plenty at the range but never hunted with it. The nosler bt was pretty devastating! These were handloads, but I’m sure there is good ammo available

Got a doe this weekend on Grandpas 3 acres just outside of town. Had a little collateral damage! :)

I don’t see any blood on the fletching, so I assume you didn’t shoot through the doe into the garage door...

Oh no it blew right thru her. Double lunger and arrow made a slight right turn right into the shop door. LOL. She was just barely clear of the door but arrow musta glanced off her ribs and changed its direction on exit. Made a hell of smack when it hit that metal door! She was at 25 yards. Door was probably at 40 yards or so. Me and gramps got a good laugh out of it. Good thing the door was shut. Grandmas Lincoln Navigator is behind that door!

There is blood, but its hard to see without a zoomed in picture.

I shot a doe last year at 12 yards, watched her crash 40 yards away but didn’t find the arrow. After checking her, I walked a different trail back to my stand and the arrow was laying there. It had to almost do a 90degree turn as it passed through to get where it was.

"Be sure of what's behind your target" and to either side at up to a 90 degree angle. Lol
