Prepare yourself for the reply is all I can tell you lol.....
Lol. You didn’t appreciate the depth of my answers in our past discussions? Those took me hours to put together, usually late at night lol.

I believe being a Mason and being Catholic is incompatible. Given that Protestants believe in religious indifferentism, I can see how they wouldn’t see a problem with being a Mason and being “Christian”. I don’t think it’s right, but I see the parallels since Freemasonry is also religiously indifferent.

As a Catholic, I believe there is only one Truth and that it is intended for anyone to hear and understand, not just someone who has learned the right handshake or password.

In addition to temples, oaths, altars, rituals, and knowledge…I left out Masonic burials as well. Anyone who doesn’t see that this is a religion is delusional. Just as one cannot simultaneously be Christian and Muslim, one cannot simultaneously be a true Christian and a Freemason. I pray someday you see it as well.

I discovered a beautiful Mason ring and immaculate Mason Lodge Bible at an estate sale and I couldn’t let it go to wherever estate sale leftovers go.

With that being said I would really like to see both items go to a proper new home, any suggestions?

Don’t mean to hijack the thread, I was really interested in Demolay back in 1982 when a buddy revealed his entire family was into the organization, Dad was dead set against it so I didn’t get to venture down that path.

Pretty sure some people are just born to argue. 😉 Don’t think there’s a darn thing anyone could say to change his mind and I know the rest of us that have replied aren’t going to come to some epiphany from his words and say “damn, didn’t realize I was worshiping Satan……I better stop.” Yet as you’ve pointed out the beat goes on. I just feel for the poor OP that was looking for info about DeMolay. Talk about driving this one in the weeds.
Yes, agreed. @OkieMoe. Give it a go.

Back on topic, my friends and I were in DeMolay. We were taught nothing that was immoral or unwholesome. Some of the "rituals" were beautiful and moving. One ceremony was a tribute to our mothers. Our mothers were present, and my mother's tears when I gave her the red rose were quite touching.

If I had a son, I would have encouraged him to join

I can vouch that the young men in the family that had me interested in Demolay are 2 of the finest gentlemen I know, if that means anything. We grew up doing almost everything the same except Demolay, my father was a smart man but he never shared with me why he thought that wasn’t In my cards.

I hope you let him explore and educate yourselves as much as possible, growing up overseas on military bases we always attended whatever service was provided on Sundays, talk about an education in religion.

Looks like the NWO is going down the tubes, if it is going to be ran by Masons.

Most of the AF/AM Lodges, I have been familiar with are closed for business.
They can't get enough members to attend, they can't even Open for business.

Doesn't look good for NWO.

A couple of things I used to enjoy, about Mason's, was a Good Meal, along with Kindness and Compassion and Fellowship with some very nice Men and their Wives, at the Meal they serve at the end of the year, which is open to any one who wants to attend. They even show you around the inside of a Lodge. You can ask questions and they will Honestly answer them.

I became a Knife and Fork Mason myself.

I would tell you about this order but it is a secret. If I were to tell, the Tyler might present me before a Constitutional Lodge of Masons, and I would receive my dues. Only Masons of Old will know what Order the Knife and Fork Masons' are.

It is a secret society within the Masons that is not officially recognized by the Masonic Order.

Can you guess the secret, if you are not Affiliated with Masonry?

If you are a Mason have you heard of the Knife and Fork Masons'?

Agreed. I have offspring 40-14 And raising kids in today's era isn't the same as 30 years ago. And help with positive Input for them just helps offset the crap they get online and at school. I want them acclimated in today's society while holding onto as many old school practices as possible.

I also picked up a beautiful Masonic bible at an estate sale. I believe it is from a Lodge that had gone dark. PM on the ring.
