Difference between Redfield Revolution-TAC & Battlezone?

I've been looking at the Redfield scopes and was wondering why the Revolution-TAC 3-9x40 runs about $100 more than the Battlezone 3-9x42. Is it the eye relief or something? I'm honestly a little ignorant on scopes so I was checking to see if anybody can enlighten me.

The Tac may have better glass or coatings, or both. The Battlezone does have the different turrets for 223/308. What are you going to slap it on?

A 556/223 ar.

They have decent glass. If I remember right, they had a little more glare. You might also look at the Nikon M223 series. Kinda depends on your purpose and configuration. The Bushnell Elite 3200 fixed 10 power mil dot is another good one.

The M series Nikon is out of my price range. I'd have to go with a P series. I'm looking at a ceiling of around $200 for my optic.

I've done some more research and it would seem the Battlezone is assembled in the Philippines, where the Revolution is assembled in the USA. Some reviews also indicate that the reticle sometimes turns a golden color in the daylight, making it very difficult to see.
