What is probably more important that the presidential election is the Senate races. If the democrats get control of the Senate, and that is a very real possibility, it won't matter if a Trump justice is approved or not. Because if the democrats gain control of the Senate, they will pack the Supreme Court and do away with the filibuster rule on all legislation which means everything the socialists and communists want will sail through the House and Senate.

And, if we want a forecast of that scenario, look at kommiefornia. RAT supermajority that gets whatever it wants no questions asked. When I started creating my thread there was not another one on the subject so that was not the issue. Good try though.

I always try to look for a similar thread before I start a new one especially in the case of "breaking news" because I myself don't like multiple threads on the same subject.

I know it is necessary to merge threads at times but if that was stated at the beginning of the new thread then the sometimes nonsensical out of order post at the beginning of those threads wouldn't be so confusing to the reader.
