Ha, I’ve started taking it apart. There’s actually more to those seemingly simple bolt actions than I thought. Before I pull any more pins in the action, I need to watch a YouTube vid or two.
I’ll get all the internal parts in the sonic cleaner, start stripping the blue with naval jelly and sanding the stock. The butt pad is pretty deteriorated so I get a new one coming.

I’m trying to find the original post by @CHenry. It’s a Sears bolt action 16 gauge. This one is cool enough that I might keep it. I buy a project every fall to restore and this one might stay in the safe when I’m done
It’s a good restoration project. No big gouges or cracks in the wood. The barrel surface will take a little work but I think it will come out nice.
Hell how did I miss that? I’d have definitely given you $100 for it lol.
