My son in Dallas has a Jeep Wagoneer with the slant 6 in his mud run truck. That thing has amazing power.A pox on your V-8's. Dodge slant six 225. Had one in a work truck that lasted for years. Would pull anything in 4WD and still get decent gas mileage.
Yep. UPS used them in their delivery trucks for quite awhile. That says a lot.The old Ford 300 I6 was a tough sucker. I have abused several for many many miles.
No idea how long my 03' 6.0lpsd lasted, had 333k when I sold it. I know of a 99' F350 7.3lpsd with 400k+ with original guts as well.
