My 95 Tacoma had 350,000 + miles on it when I sold it in 2016. New owner has it over 400K now with zero oil usage between changes.

No idea how long my 03' 6.0lpsd lasted, had 333k when I sold it. I know of a 99' F350 7.3lpsd with 400k+ with original guts as well.

Im going to look at a 2000 model with a 350 vortec on Thursday. single cab long bed 4x4 with 130k miles on it for $5500. Last year of that body stype which is one of my favorites. Hopefully it is clean in person, it'd make a good putt around work truck.

My son in Dallas has a Jeep Wagoneer with the slant 6 in his mud run truck. That thing has amazing power.

Yep. UPS used them in their delivery trucks for quite awhile. That says a lot.

Mrs Dumpstick puts 100 miles a day on her 2001 Dodge Stratus. It has 255,000 miles on it, and get 27 - 28 mpg.
Twin OHC 2.4L (vrooom) auto.

Every 5k miles, when I change the oil, I just shake my head in amazement. Nobody believes me when I tell them about it.

My folks used an '03 F350 to pull trailers all over the country for Idle Time campers. This truck had +600k on it when they stopped doing this several years ago. Motor was still good, but the rest of the truck was extremely 'tired'.
