Donald Sutherland dead at 88, son announces

Though the movie was so-so, I loved Sutherland's performance in 1994's adaptation of the Robert A. Heinlein novel The Puppet Masters:

I thought the movie was great,,,
The first half anyways.

When they didn't do "Operation Suntan" I was very disappointed.

The last movie I saw him in, "Mr. Harrigan's Phone" was good and I thought his performance was especially good. Even in movies I didn't think were great, I always thought his performance was good.

Didn't always agree with his politics, but he was a dang good actor.

Unfortunately that applies to about 90% of them.

He was a talented, funny individual.
