I would agree its far easier to manipulate than claimed by the advocates of such and I am trying really hard to not sound like a conspiracy theorist here but I think this whole mess was funded by various governments as a POC .

Look at how all the major economic powers are now all clamoring and rushing to create their own digital currencies which are more centralized than good old fashioned cash.
