This was way past defending his home....this was cold blooded murder. If he had shot and they had fell and he had left it at that and they would have died I would be ok with it, but this guy shoots, they fall, finished them off with a placed head shot when the fight is already done. This guy makes me sick

Execution or defending his home?<-------------- Will be needing far more information than is available in that little bit of biased "journalism". But it has been quite entertaining to see which ways the herd of sheep has split over this little issue.

Good one buddy. Just so you know this is not a "sheep" issue it's about following the law to keep our asses out of jail. And if you think this is a little issue I don't want to be anywhere near you when you have a weapon in any circumstance. Mental stability a little issue, take notes OSA.

Just because you are standing in your house with a gun in your hand doesn't mean you get to kill whoever you want however you want whenever you want. Not even in Oklahoma. With the circumstances stated in the article there is a huge amount of room to leave one scratching their head at the shear unbelievability of it all. I would have no surprise in me at all if we come to find out the kids were there to buy drugs from the guy and something went wrong so he shot them. Then it took him a day to get rid of his meth lab and supplies. Not saying that's what happened, but it would make a lot more sense than the absolutely unbelievable account he gave. And if he told it accurately, then he shot a girl to death for laughing at him. Even with the castle doctrine you better be able to do a better job than that convincing the DA or a jury the person or people you killed were a threat to you right to the very end of their life. Shooting them to administer a coup de grace isn't going to do you any favors.

Are you OK with how he killed them, though?
Meh, not really. But I'm not going to give an emotional outcry over it. I don't know the circumstances leading up to this. Let me give an example. There was a crazy guy that used to live behind my Grandpa's place. A friend and I loved to torment him by knocking on his door and running or standing outside in his yard yelling at him. now he was mentally disabled or what we used to call mentally retarded. He would come flying out of his trailer house with a 2x4 and we would run laughing just as hard as we could. now if he caught us he probably would have beat us to death.(He wasn't all there) Had he caught us and done that everyone would have wanted to hang poor ol' Melvin from the nearest tree. But there was a different side to the story. Did we deserve death? No. Did we flirt with death? Yes.
