cleaning guns are the limiting factor to number of guns taken to range.
if I don't clean the gun right then... once gun get put away in safe... it's all but forgotten.

one of the few guns I purchased new... a Knight Disc Elite .50 cal black powder in blue...

anyways, killed a deer then rifle was put away without cleaning .... next season was the next time rifle was touched. Talk about a mess!!!

bore was rusted so bad, thought rifle was destroyed. worked and worked on bore and action.... rust finally all removed... bore is still usable but not much chance ever seeing 1 moa at 100yds again.

now all guns get cleaned before putting up in safe....

Bought a Stevens Crack Shot fer the Missus a few years ago. Shiny bore and seems to be a good action. I guess we do need to go try it out... :)

As fer ammo - you get what you paid for.

Just my 2 cents...

I like owning pairs of guns with one centerfire,,,
And the matching companion in .22 LR.

S&W Model 15 & Model 18,,,
S&W Model 36 & Model 34,,,
Colt Trooper Mk III in .357 Mag & .22 LR,,,
CZ-75B in 9mm and CZ-75B Kadet in .22 LR.

Next to get is a S&W Model 14 & Model 17,,,
And since I don't have a .380 A Bersa Thunder .380 & Thunder .22,,,
And even farther down the spending line is a Beretta Model 84 & Model 87.

Yep, I luvs me .22's,,,

.22lr? Never fell out of love!!! There is no other cartridge out there that can bring as much pleasure as the little .22lr. There have probably been more guns made in .22lr than any other chambering, and the sky's the limit on what can be done with the .22lr.
As of right now; 15
Anschutz 1451
Walther KKJ
Walther Model V
Remington 581LH
Marlin 39A
Marlin 60
Ruger 10/22 Youth
Ruger 10/22 Standard SS
Ruger 10/22 RSI
SW 17-3
SW 18-3
Manurhin/Walther PPK/s
Ruger MKII
Ruger MKIII 22/45 4.5"
Ruger MKIII 22/45 4"

I could drag all of these to the range and three bricks of ammo, start with a smile and leave with a smile, and have put in a good three hours or better of shooting.

And about 6 hours of cleaning!
