Class of 9305 here. Lost a camera in Yokosuka...but it was worth it.

My thanks go out to the nephew.... Former airdale here... Best yrs of my life.... I was in Japan from 93-97 in Airwing 5 with HS-12 and VS-21 onboard CV62 USS Independence

Thanks guys. He's a good young kid. Ive got several other nephews but he's the only one id want to serve with. His heads on good, keeps things real, and has a good work ethic.

He kinda wants to get into police work, kinda thinks he would like being a corpsman and kinda would like to work in areospace industry. And he wants to see the world and have an adventure.

He'll do well.

It's quite possible he's in for the ride of his life. Navy service helped shaped me for sure.

I tried to talk my own nephew out of joining the marines, but when he did I proudly crowed about it to anybody that would listen.
Subjecting yourself to the whims of Washington, but somebody has to do it. Just like always.
