One the other guides on our OYH&SP hunt last week was biologist on one of the OK Federal Refuges. Was pretty interesting to see and hear about some of the bucks they watch year after year. Some grow, some don't, some max out early...............one was an incredible typical, and the next year it was similar, but developed some incredible non-typical points everywhere. Then the very next year it was back to the normal giant typical rack!

I've been watching a buck for about 5 years and have sheds on him from two consecutive years, and he is at least 6 and is still about a 105" 10 point but with a huge body. He has already broke a G2 off his right side this year. I pretty much knew when he was 3 that he wasn't going to be what we wanted, but I've left him hoping for more next year.
