We got a Dorkie female about two months ago. She is young, just going through her first heat. The lady we got her from wasn't very good with reliable information. We've debated having a litter with her, wondered if ole Barney is up to a "good time" one day in the future. Is he intact? Also where you are located? I could send pictures if Barney needs to make a visual decision, she's pretty cute.Meet Barney! He's a three year old Dorkie (Dachshund-Yorkie mix) Adopted him a week ago from the shelter. No real background. He was picked up as a stray with no chip or collar and never claimed. He's very nervous around new people, but a real sweetie once he gets comfortable. Loves walks and playing fetch. My new best buddy.
Thanks, I know Barney appreciates the offer. Having him fixed was a condition of adoption from the shelter though, so no parenthood in his future. A shame, since he seems like an all-around great dog so far. Would love to see a pic of your girl anyhow. We got a Dorkie female about two months ago. She is young, just going through her first heat.
