I'd love to get one with my crossbow.
I lost my previous hunting spot I had for the last 6 years. And I haven't had time this year to get out and find a new one since the baby came along.
But what ya got in mind?, I'm listening,
I have a stand that I'll never use again that's bow range. Another gun range.

do you source the deer?
No. I’m saying if someone here perhaps wishes they could get one of these deer that these guys are offering, but they can’t quite make it happen due to age/disability/tough schedule/etc… perhaps I could be a middle man and get the deer, get it skinned and quartered at least, resting in a cooler. Or even I’d go ahead and get it processed into cuts and grind, depending on what the individuals needs are

(For the record: I have worked at a meat processing place for a while years ago, I know how to take care of meat. I keep my coolers and tools squeaky clean and the meat as cold and clean as possible the entire time. The product should be acceptable)

Are you wanting to do your own butchering? Would you rather have prepared cuts? Hell, since you’re expressing interest, maybe I can help get you hooked up. If you’re interested.

Perhaps if another venison opportunity arises I can pick one up for you and get it cleaned up to rest in a cooler until your schedule works, and then I drive it part way towards Tulsa for ya? I’m self employed and my schedule is pretty flexible around the holidays

Good man. I would ask for a deer but the wife will only eat ground venison. Plus the last time I tried cooking backstrap I screwed it up and over cooked it. About tore my dentures out trying to chew it. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I have a friend on here that is driving many miles next week to bring me some deer meat since I'm moving kinda slow these days. I am very grateful too cause I'm use to doing for myself and my family. Not use to receiving such kindness.
Send me a PM with a general idea where abouts in Lincoln county. I'll be driving I-40 to Okemah a couple more times this year and could likely stop by on my way to/from with some venison.

Granted, IT IS NOT FREE - firm handshake required upon delivery! :)

Just whisper fire to it and plate it.
lol, I fry it in cast iron with a large pad of butter and a scoop of minced garlic, 2-3 minutes per side.
I do beef rib eye the same way but of course a little longer cook times.
