looking for a budget friendly front and rear dash cams that don't require drilling holes in my truck
This is what is in three of my cars with the newer 3 channel version having been bought, but not installed yet, in my car. They do wonders and you can access the footage with your cell phone on scene, if needed. I did have them professionally installed, just to hide the cables under the roof trim. Get the version that permanently mounts, instead of the suction cup ones. It stays on the windshield much better.

The three channel I bought is here. Oh and be sure to click the coupon, it will save you some bucks.

I bought this Rove from Amazon. Very small and has great playback quality. Tag reading quality plus collision wake up and so on. It's only forward recording, but cheap enough one could be mounted in the rear window. We are always pulling a fifth wheel, so didn't see the need for a rear looking model.

I use the Kenwood DRV601. So easy a Daveman can do it..
About $200. The one in my truck is permanent mounted, the one in my car is suction cup mounted so we can move it to rental cars. It links to your phone and all that other fancy garbage
