Well, it looks like I really can't go to work today. Both cars are stuck in the garage cause the spring broke on our double door. I can't lift it by myself, so I have to wait till my wife gets up and put her to work. lol I already googled fixing it myself and I'm not doing it. So, can anyone suggest a repairman in the okc area? And how much should I expect to pay to have both springs replaced?

Another vote for Trotter. I had a new spring put on last year and I want to say it was around $75 but mine was the single spring setup. Not sure about the doubles.

A 1 overhead door. Usually cheaper and much more honest than trotter. I have used him for years at my work. He has replaced probably 100 springs for me. 670-5274

I ended up going with A1 Overhead Door cause he could come out today and was compairable priced with the others. He got here sooner that he estimated and worked quick. Also gave a 1yr warranty. Cost was $205 for two new tension springs installed.

Thanks for all the referals.
