Russia. They (for the most part) won the war in Europe, took control of all the land they were probably going to take when they went on their European tour (but Hitler beat them to it), took a chunk of Germany, and didn't have to pay too much to rebuild the place. Germany and Japan made out pretty decent long-term after the war, but the Germans still take a lot of sh*t over WWII; the Japanese are pretty much off the hook.

BS. Wilson was trying to make a descent peace with Germany. Many agreements had already been made until mainly the French went nuts in their desire to punish the Germans. The Germans felt the conditions were unfair considering that there was no unconditional surrender and it was a major reason why Hitler found sympathetic ears. He was the only one that was willing to bring change.
You may not like this version of history, but it happens to be widely accepted.

Absolutely, it hurt their pride. Everybody knew that Wilson had been pushed aside by the rest, mainly the French. Combine that with a depression and uber inflation and you get Hitler.
People react to the current regime, just the way they reacted to Bush here and they were capable of electing anybody, even an Obama.
