Have you got to the range with that combo yet? My sparrow is still in jail and figured I'd give it a couple more weeks till I sic my local congress critter on the alphabet bois.

This is the first year I can honestly say, I didn't get anything. It was kind of weird but we all agreed to not buy each other anything and taking a family trip next week instead. To make up for it, I bought me a new headlamp and a new ground blind. The blind came today.

I actually took the combo out to my friend's place a couple weeks ago and had a lot of fun with it. Super quiet (but not quite backyard in the city bird hunting quiet) and not a single failure out of the new pistol. I shot a few different types of ammo (subsonic, standard and high velocity) and the volume level with the Sparrow on was hearing safe (to me at least) with all varieties. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Better half got me a Blackstone 2310 36” griddle. Merry Christmas to me!

This seems to be the year for that. I got my brother and his family a 48” Blackstone. My nieces and nephews got me a nondescript little assisted-opening pocket knife that’s black with an olivewood half scale that’s engraved “Our favorite uncle.” It also came in a wooden presentation box with my name lasered onto the lid. It doesn’t have a fancy maker’s name or a supersteel blade, but it’s priceless to me.
