ghost ring sights for 870

I have an 18.5 Remington 870 with extension tube. I really would like to add ghost ring sights, but I don't know anything about it, never used ghost ring sights on a shotgun. Would it be a waste of money, if not then where can I get some? any help would be great.

Several different styles for the FO:

I like GRs, but... If you're going to be shooting slugs quite a bit, I think you'll get more benefit from GR sights. For home defense, probably 6 of 1, 1/2 doz of the other. I feel that XS makes the best banded GR front, while LPA or MMC make better rear assemblies.

Are they worth it. What I mean is will it give me the ability to get on target faster, or are they mainly for longer distance accuracy
