It certainly seems like a strange idea, but I imagine Glock will make more off this in the next 12 months than most of us will with our marketing efforts.

Selling them here may just be a side benefit of relocating the manufacturing to the US? If the main market is south america, maybe they benefit from exporting from here? Dunno.
