glonation for night sights??

I have been looking for some night sites for my Taurus 709. Evidently because this model only came out last year there isn't much out to add to it. Then I came across this site. Supposedly you just clean your sights then apply this with a toothpick and let dry overnight.

Has anyone ever used this to make their own night sites? any thoughts?

I tried a product called Bright Sights. it worked to add some contrast during the day but the glow in the dark was not good. the paint also peeled off.

I used a glow in the dark paint on a pistol, only problem is, with it being in the nightstand, it never gets any light to "charge up" the glow.

Had some but it dried out real fast.
