Might be worth a try depending on price, My running gloves don't have the technology fingers always have to pull a glove off to start or stop my runnkeeper app, my wife's do and they work great for her. I got a pair of Marmot fleece gloves at Christmas time with the technology finger so far they work great.

I'm guilty of this too, sitting in my stand. Too damn cold to take my gloves off but too damn boring to just sit there and freeze!

My wife has the Isotoner tech tip gloves and they work for her.
