I'm pretty heavily stocked on CCI SV, and it shoots great and is subsonic....but kinda think bare lead is less than ideal for a can. What's a good coated/jacketed/plated alternative that's affordable, accurate, reliable and subsonic in a rifle?

Winchester super suppressed is my go to. A bit pricier than the Mexican stuff, but quality control is very high. Think I've had one dud out of a couple thousand now. Copper plated bullet, and easy to identify in my mags with the black tip. Not as quiet as CCI, but runs excellent in my semi-auto pistol.

Does it shoot clean (for 22)?

I have some of the Aquila mentioned above and agree it shoots well but my memory says it is crazy dirty.

CCI standard velocity is actually 20 fps slower than the Winchester Super Suppressed, so I’d try it before I spend money on a specialty ammo.

I’ve actually shot CCI standard, and it’s not as quiet as the RWS and Aguilla but is relatively quiet and really accurate.

Yeah that is my general go to I was just looking for something that was plated or coated to help with fouling inside the can. I may be overthinking it but it seems like something that is coated would be better for suppressor shooting
