Golf Outing?

Not sure if this is the right forum (maybe sports?), but my daughter's softball team that I am head coach of is having a fundraiser golf tournament this Saturday April 15 at Lake Hefner Golf Course. Would love to see some of my Oklahoma Shooters friends there for some small ball and to help a good cause! Proceeds are going to help fund their trip to Branson for the USSSA National Championship tournament in July. This is also the Saturday before Easter, so you can either use it as an excuse to avoid your in-laws or you can take them along if you like them! Here are the details:

Four man scramble, 8am shotgun start
$300/team entry fee
All golfers will receive a certificate for a free golf club and a gift card to Golfsmith
Prizes given for 1st-3rd place as well as closest to pin and longest drive
We will also have FOUR different holes with hole in one prizes in effect. The main prize is $7,500 vacation for four to any destination of your choosing!

Notable for this forum: there will be a guy on hand with an air canon (same kind that Rumble uses to launch shirts out of at Thunder games) and for a small donation you can use the canon to drive your ball (approx range of 400 yards!).

We still need a few more teams in order to meet our requirement set forth by the golf course. We can take credit card, cash or check as payment and if you mention you are with OK Shooters I will take $20 off the entry fee!

We also have TWO hole sponsorships remaining for $100 each and would welcome any other donations for prizes, raffles, or anything else that would make this event a success for these young ladies. Thank you and let me know if you are interested in any of the above!

Short notice, and not sure I can get a team together, but send me the contact info for registering a team or if the course superintendent is doing the registration.

Is it Hev east or west? (just curious)

Sorry. It's Lincoln that's east and west. We had a saying about the two courses. At hef it's North is nice and at Lincoln it's West is best. That how we told people which course to play. North and west (at the two courses) are better laid out and had improvements.
I'll see if I can get a team together tonight.

I'm only announcing this on OK Shooters, but I really need 3 more teams to fill our sheet. I will take teams for tomorrow morning's tournament at $200, which is our cost. We have to pay for those spots anyway, would rather break even than lose money. That's pretty much exactly the cost you would pay to just go play a round of golf and you'll have the chance at all the prizes!
