So, I was headed down to Moore yesterday and had a kinda cool OC experience here's how it went.
I normally don't OC. Only time I did was on the first legal day just for the heck of it, however, My pants seem to be shrinking. I work from home so due to the shrinking waistline on my pants, I've been OCing around the house and throwing a hoodie or something on that covers it to go out. Yesterday, on my way to Moore to check out the new Blue Collar Tactical shop, my truck turned into the Starbucks at 15th & Bdwy here in Edmond (guess the truck was trained).
I totally didn't think about OCing when one lady behind the counter was commenting on my "evolution of congress" tee shirt and the dude working the register said I was the first OCer he'd seen since the law passing. He then thanked me for doing it and showing people that it's not all nut jobs but people all around them in their same neighborhood who just take responsibility for their own safety. Kinda made me uncomfortable bc that wasn't what I was looking for. The main reason I don't OC is simply to avoid the conversations about it. I don't want to defend it to the libtards or listen the the guy that is over-the-top "hoorah".
Anyway, after leaving, I thought it was pretty nice that the kid said that.
ETA: If I had been posted in the correct section, I would still be open.
