Grackles can be confused with cow birds. Starlings and dandelions are a couple of gifts from our friends in the UK. Both are dreadfully lovely don't you think?

I dunno about starling, but dandelion greens and even the flowers are pretty good eating. I like listening to grackles, too. GC abhors them. Prefers cardinals ... Noisy ass bastards ... Go figure ...

The male grackles mating dance is pretty interesting to watch...........they pick grasshoppers from my brush guard in the summer...........sinister yellow eyes.....what more could one ask for?

I wish they would start hunting the starlings. Starlings are the worst birds I know of
