You ever get tired of all those 3" 66's, you just let me know!!

Not likely!! I've actually picked up a couple more 3"ers since that pic and a 66 6" no dash that was never made but does letter correct. Someone had some pull.

Gotcha, I knew a 10 had fixed sights, old age must be creeping up.

So in my way of thinking, it's a M19 with fixed sights?

Mmmm...sorta.

The model 19 and 66 is built on the Comabt Magnum frame. Which means adjustable sights, groved frontstrap and backstrap and shrouded ejector rod.

The model 10/13/64/65 series is built on the Military & Police frame. Heavy barrel (on some) fixed sights NON shrouded ejector rod and smooth frontstrap and backstrap.

There are some M&P model 10s out there that came in a 3 inch tube that also had shrouded ejector rods.

But they are pretty rare.
