If your looking for a US built monster that will be secure AND highly fire resistant: Sturdy Safe, then Fort Knox, Graffunder
If you're on a budget but want a good US Built safe overall, with very good fire ratings that are true - Champion Safe from Utah. Trophy Series.
If you want stuff shipped into country and still pay premium - Liberty, Cannon, and several / most of the store offered units
Patriot Safes seem nice - unsure of where they are truly built/manuf.
When in doubt, try to find a distributer with integrity who carries a wide range of safes.......He/She will hopefully explain the facts and the facts about fire rating games and where the safes are built.
Curious on Bear Safe from OKC - will have to check them out.
