Gundy should have been fired at 5 today. Lack of leadership in the BOR, for not standing their ground with him.

What I've heard reported is that he had until 5 pm to sign a reduced contract. Haven't heard anything since 5 pm about whether or not he signed.

And the other story being reported is that they want to fire him "for cause" because of disparaging remarks he made about fans a couple of months ago. Putting 2 and 2 together, I'm guessing they told him if he didn't sign the reduced contract, he would be fired for cause.

Honestly, at this point I'm not sure he cares. It seemed kind of like he phoned in the season.

Sounds like he will be fired with cause if he doesn’t except terms and agree to play the NIL game. Also sounded like he does not have sole hiring authority for new OC and DC. It will be interesting to see where the dust settles.

I studied and worked at OSU all of his career,,,
I had three personal encounters with him,,,
All proving he was a complete jerk.

At the very first, when he took on the media,,,
For bad press against his players,,,
I was a tad impressed.

But it soon became apparent,,,
His reactions were to defend himself.

I'm ready for some new blood at my Alma Mater.
