The variable here is China and the export restrictions they announced back in August (?). They are the world’s largest exporter of antimony which is used to harden lead. I’ve noticed that lead shot for shotgun reloading has increased in price by 10% or more over the last couple of months. Fortunately, I have bags of shot I’m reloading that were purchased when it was 1/2 the price it is now.I'm an optimist. I see ammo and gun prices falling just like they did in Trumps first administration.
In the obummer years when people were paying over $100 for a 500-round box of Remington thunder duds, I was sitting on a big stash of .04 cents a round .22 ammo from the Trump years.
Swore I'd never pay more than .04 a round and held to that.
When .22RF fell to .03 a round, I'll never need to buy another .22 cartridge ever again.
