Back in ‘96 a retired Marine Corps pilot offered me his 1924 Remington Model 14, .32 Rem Auto. He fondly told me of crushing deer in upstate NY with it, and I accepted the rifle never intending to shoot it. That changed this past spring, when the desire to warm her up became too much to bear…..

I had an unfired colt M45A1. I decided to send it to auction and I didn't want to hurt the value, so I never fired it. It sold and I lost A LOT of money.

I have my late grandpa's glenfield model 60 .22. the magazine is still loaded with the cartridges he loaded it with. It's not worth much, but it's priceless to me. I will probably never shoot it. One of the few guns I got of his that my cousin didn't steal.
