went to a local gunshow yesterday FREE parking and FREE entry nothing like what yall have in the city but when it is free worth going to

I find threads like these very informative as to the places where I should or where I should not, spend my money.

I was there and it was a pleasant surprise to see that FREE Admission sign at the front door. Typical small town show (actually smaller than the last Rotary Club show), but still much better than a kick in the head.

Haven't we done the Metcalf bashing about to death? The OP tried to avoid reopening that particular can of worms, and is, after all, paying for the right to advertise here. Check the numerous other threads referfenced above and make your own decision.

the free show is in durant at the choctaw event center along with the hog fest its a real small show the rotary club is putting it on

I didn't see any bashing. The name was promoter wasn't mentioned and some of us won't go to his shows so I was just asking to clarify. Not a stab on anyone here and there are plenty of other shows to visit local vendors.
