It was really cool show, and ended up with a gun i wanted for a ccw. Ammunition seems about the same everywhere else. Other than that i am happy with the out come.

I only attend Wanenmacher or Super Dave's gun shows. I refuse to support scumbags like Metcalf. You really need to do your research.

This has turned out to be a good show.

One vendor had a sign that said he would pay for your admission if you purchased from him.

I did not see very many things not gun related, which is a nice change for some of the OKC shows. There may have been other shows like this during the summer, but I would not know because we did not set up at any OKC shows this summer.

I got to meet a lot of OSA members today that stopped by to say hi, some were purchasing items form us. Thank you for stopping by, it always makes my day to see so many OSA members at a gun show (it does not matter who puts it on), it tells me that they really do not care what the Negative Nancy's have to say, and prefer not be influenced by them or even to respond to their negativeness against guns shows. Good for you. The same anti gun show people say the same thing in every thread I see about gun shows, so that is nothing new. This thread was not for them. If certain people get elected this time, the anti gun show people may get their wish along with all the anti gun people. Then gun shows will be a thing of the past. When do we stand united, it does not matter if it is a gun show or the right to purchase and own weapons. That is what the anti gun people want, to see the anti gun show people join their side. It is always your choice when you post anything anti gun on the internet, it just fuels their fires. If you are pro gun, everything that you post should be pro gun, unless you have crossed over to the other side.

There were many vendors that had some weapons priced very close to what they paid for them. Of course they were selling a lot of weapons.

We had a good number of customers that came up from Texas to purchase rifles, saying that these same rifles in Texas are priced very high or are not even available.

Thank you again to all that came by. We will also be set up Sunday from 10:00 till 4:00.

I will look into it. One thing i was shocked was they charged me 4% on my bank card. I almost said screw it and left but my wife just wanted to get it over and leave. I will take cash next time to any of them.

What did Metcalf say when you told him this? Has he changed his mind about other gun show promoters now?

What an ignorant statement. Being anti-Metcalf has nothing to do with being anti-gun. Just because we don't like his business practices doesn't mean we are going to magically jump onto the anti-gun bandwagon. Why would I pay $12 admission, money for gas and invest my time into something that no longer yields a reward? If I can buy an AR-15 from you for the same price at the gun show that you sell it in your store why would I invest the extra funds and time to attend a Metcalf show????????? That makes no logical sense. Having a gun show every single month in OKC defeats the whole purpose of having them to begin with. What's the point??? As a consumer I'd be better off saving that money and actually spending it on guns and firearm related items.

Just cause I don't like Wendy's doesn't mean I'm suddenly going to become a vegetarian.

.

What a load of pure BS.

I remember when Obama first got elected and a certain vendor on this site jacked up their prices nearly overnight claiming their cost had gone up. Whereas several other OSA vendors relayed the reality that costs had stayed the same. Where was this "we are all in this together" mentality then?? How about when Ol' Warren seems to resort to childish behavior towards the OSA community, other promoters AND vendors??

To prefer to do business with honest gun related businesses that don't give me cheap car salesman rhetoric doesn't mean I'll compromise my 2nd amendment rights. Quite the contrary.

Anyone that is clearly trying to pimp for a jackwagon like Metcalf, and chastises and labels those that choose not to support him as the same as being anti-gun, is clearly someone that I will not be doing business with. Ever. Just as I have chosen to not support Spikes anymore, not one cent, because they tried to take advantage of the previous election results, I will do the same, here. Just as I have chosen to not support Tromix because of his outlandish statements regarding those that choose to legally open carry. It is these vendors that are driving the wedge in the gun community, not the gun community themselves.

Guys why don't you cut him a break? If you were in the gun selling business, you would set up at any gunshow you could to promote your products regardless of who puts it on. Simple fact is that OKC gunshows bring in a lot of people and publicity to a business. Besides how is he to voice his opinion for or against a certain gunshow promoter? If that promoter looks in on the threads and sees someone that signed up for a table at his show is badmouthing him, well that's just bad business for the badmouther. It's his right to setup wherever he pleases and your right to attend a gun show or not.

After some more research i could have saved money if i just went to sooner state pawn after the $13 entry fee, and a $14 credit card fee they charged me to buy a gun. All in all i spent $27 more for my gun at that gun show. That was my first time ever going and last time. I will just stick to local business for my fire arms.
