If it were mine, it would get a trip back to the Mothership.
Sent in my Single-Six for a accuracy/timing issue. They did do the transfer bar change, returning the old parts.
It came back very accurate, and if anything, the trigger was Better!
Zero cost to me.

Pretty sure Ruger won’t work on the Speed Six because that model has been discontinued for quite some time. I called them awhile back concerning a Police Service Six and was told that.

I may have found part of my problem. I’ve been prepping brass to reload and came across this one piece of brass so far, I need to re check all of them. But the piece on the right has a thicker base. I put the case into the revolver and rotated the cylinder. When it reached the top position the cylinder wouldn’t move past and got stuck. So far it’s only been GFL ammo.

I sorted thru all the spent cases and found 3 others that had thicker bases than the others. I have fired 250 more rounds out of the pistol and have not had any issues with the cylinder sticking so I’m starting to think it was defective brass. Hopefully that was the problem to begin with and all is well now.

Could be. I have my father's old 357 SA. It is very picky about the ammo it will handle to the point that reloads that work in every other 357 mag I have had, bind up the cylinder in his. Everything has to be perfect and if the brass swells a little, it is going to bind.

Still sounds as excessive endshake allowing cylinder to move forward and bind on barrel, and if that one particular lot of brass truly out of spec, you should not be able to close cylinder. You could measure rim thickness to see if in SAAMI spec, and also check to see if cylinder shoved fwd and fully back at each chamber has end shake within limits, while cylinder rubbing barrel at all when shoved fwd is a no-go, and requires a replacement crane or the end shake bearings I mentioned earlier. If cylinder is rubbing barrel when you check it, it also is hitting barrel under recoil, and likely rubbing a good number of times which is not good for cylinder face, barrel stub, or barrel cylinder gap, and rear interior.of cylinder also playing slide hammer against rear of crane will just continue to worsen the problem the more the gun is fired.
