Had an unexpected intruder tonight

This fella was enjoying his evening until the cat came home and found him partaking of a meal. I was wondering why I was buying 40 lbs of cat food every week and a half. Notice how shiny his coat is and obese tendencies.

Oh, the cat wasn't real happy when he was face to face with the intruder.

Nah, they aren't aggressive and really don't cause much issue out here in the subs. Now if it were a skunk or the coyote that ran across the front yard the other day, I wouldn't hesitate. But this over-sized mouse can live another day.

Funny ya ask that. I bought a live trap to catch an armadillo. I didn't catch the armadillo but I caught two possums. My six year old ask if she could keep one as a pet. I told her no because it stank to high heaven. This one is well groomed and doesn't have any odor I can tell from a couple feet away. He probably would make a good pet, but not for my family. You want him?
