My favorite trick or treat candy as a kid was always those bite sized Laffey Taffeys. Even have jokes on the wrappings.

Brach's candy corn and pumpkins, as well as those Circus Peanuts. About the only time I get the Brach's stuff is in October, but I slip by the "ranch" stores (Big R, Atwoods, Coastal, Tractor Supply) throughout the year to get the circus peanuts. However, they have to be fairly soft when squeezed to be sure I get fresh ones.

I remember popcorn balls but I'd imagine they are out because of razor blades from sick people. As a kid I ate them in the fifties-ain't life short?

I love me some Almond Joy, too. The wife and I usually end up fighting over those, sneaking some to hide in various places around the house so the other won't find "the last ones".
