There was definitely an "eating order" for Halloween candy. Some was preferred over others.

Chocolate was first. (Hersheys)
Then anything containing nuts or peanut butter.(Snickers, Mars, Payday, Butterfinger)
Then anything containing nougat. (Zero, Big Hunk)
Then sugar candy.(Sweet tarts, Nerds, Bottlecaps)
Finally gummy and jelly candy. (Hot tamales, Twizzlers, Licorice)

The only one that would get tossed out was the awful "black and orange" candy. There wasn't even a name printed on it. It was hard and would pull fillings out, along with being unappetizing..

When I worked CNC electronic maintenance at Smith Tool, we had to work priority jobs in the order they came in. The Supervisor over the Electron Beam Welder department, knew a pack of the Reece's would get me to jump ship and "move" him up in the priority stack of jobs.
So you're admitting you're a cheap date, Dennis?
