Has anyone picked up the Sig 365 Macro?

So I shot it yesterday at big boys side by side with my STI Tactical. I was really surprised how much recoil mitigation it had. Needless to say I pick one up. I've been told I can use the standard 365 grip module on this does any know if it's true?

I’m waiting for the non-comped version of the macro to come out. I’ve never had a comped carry gun, so I can’t say if they help or not, but I’m also not interested in trying it.

My P365 is an amazing gun. I bought an early production gun - March or April of 2018. No hiccups at all, very shootable, and very accurate. Period. I hit a 12” diamond last weekend from ~50yds offhand.

A little more barrel, grip, and capacity would be a good thing. And with the pic rail it would make a great carry / nightstand gun when concealability is not as critical.

Found this today. The P365 X Macro is almost identical size to the Glock 43X. To put the punch in this, the G43X is 10+1 9mm from the factory, the P365 X-Macro is 17+1.

For giggles, here's the P365 overlaid on the P365 X-Macro

Isn't the main difference between the macro and the others the grip size? Why would you buy a macro then swap to an XL or even standard grip module??

Standard=short slide/barrel, short grip
XL= long slide/barrel, medium grip
X= long slide/barrel, short grip
Macro=long slide/short barrel, long grip

Do I have that right? (Not including sight or trigger shape differences)
