HB1607 needs to die a quick death in committee.

This one creates new gun free zones. If you enter any park while armed, and there happens to be a "youth sports activity taking place" anywhere in that park, you have now violated the law (if this bill were to become law). Handgun licensees are not going around causing gun violence, and there has never been any problem here in the past. I think this is just a kneejerk reaction from someone who is afraid they might see someone open carrying.

We need to wait until it gets assigned to a committee, then we will post on OKOCA's Facebook page who the key people we need to call and write are going to be. I'd like to see this one stalled in committee so it never even sees the light of day. We will try to keep OSA updated as well, but if you "like" our page, you will see it in your newsfeed when it's time to write and call.

Never picked up a virus off of Facebook. But I don't play Farmville either.
