The fiance handed out a head shot the other day.

We heard it back in the timber for probably close to 30 minutes. It never made a vocal sound just rustling leaves, and sometimes a stick breaking. She watched intently with her binoculars for a glimpse of it through the underbrush. She had decided it was an armadillo after several minutes. We had previously talked about shooting on the 3 in a 3 count if the pigs came out. She would shoot a big one on the right and I would shoot one on the left. If only one came out we would both shoot the same one. I focused elsewhere after several minutes of waiting for it to come out and apparently she did to because the boar surprised us and was about 25 yards out of the timber and closing the 125 yard distance separating us. When we were both ready, I started the count down. Only I didn't shoot, so she could take 100% of the pride in dropping him with the AR 15 she built. It is chambered in 6.8 spc.

When I was a kid, mom would not cook the rabbits unless we cut them up so she could not see the rabbit shape in the meat. Just like you did there. Haha
My mom wouldn’t cook them regardless. But dad would!
Which piece is the coyote head?
I euro-ed one I shot a couple weeks ago and gave it to my son. My daughter had some fomo, so she’s getting a cleaned coyote skull too.

If you need another coyote skull, I’ve got 4 or 5 in a body dump from the ones I killed a few weeks ago. The last time I was back there they were pretty clean and would only need to be peroxided.
