So as the title says I would like some help appraising two custom AR style rifles my dad built and setup. Is there any good places that y'all would recommend. I attached a couple pictures can upload more if needed
Take it to Black Label Armament and let Clint look at it. He'd likely sell it for you for a small consignment fee. He has done that for me.

Custom built ARs are worth very little relative to their parts.

This is because custom built are custom for the owner that built it. The only exception are well built clones are an in demand clone.

The best way to get the most money out of a custom is to part it out to others building their own custom rifles.

From what I've googled and added up the total cost of it with the scope was $2687.00 to build, now I know that doesn't reflect selling cost but still seems crazy.

As with everything, the amount you can get is relative to the effort and time you are willing to put into selling.

You want it gone this week? 35-40%

You want to part it out and sell aggressively on multiple forums for 12 months? You might get 80-90%.

Im with sherrick. Parting them out takes longer, but it gets more of your money back. ARs are so cheap these days, theyre almost given away. Which is wild because it seems like only a short few years ago, you couldnt touch one for less than 8-900 bucks. Id keep it, change it out the way you want it, then you have minimal money in a working build.
