Ohhh that's nice.

I'm really addicted to wheel guns right now. My last three guns have been a S&W 642, 4 5/8" Blackhawk in .45LC, and a GP100.

An SP101 and a Cimarron 1872 Open Top are in my future.

The 3" blue or the 5 1/2" nickel have been taunting me for a couple of years.
One of them will be my next purchase

Yeah, the 3" looks great but the 7 1/2" balances so much better! I have been tring to talk myself in one for a long time. I wish I would have got one of the Smiths in .45 Schoefild when they were offering them.

I've had a relapse.

I can't get the dadgum red paint off the front sight. I've cleaned it up some, but Hoppes #9 ain't cutting it very well. I'm gonna work on it some more today after work.

I would just try "scraping" it off with a toothpick first, and if that doesn't work, use a brass punch with a sharp point.

Just send it to me and I'll remove that paint for you. It will get it right back to you in say about 20 years or so.

That little fella is so much classier than my 638. I like it, great looking J frame!

+1 on the toothpick
