Hipness question: Are snakeskin boots still ok to wear?

As a few of you may know, I am not cool. I really have little idea what is considered hip and cool these days and I choose to wear my jeans pulled up so you can't see my boxers. About 20 years ago I bought a pair of Nacona rattlesnake boots. Nice boots, still have 'em. But they sit in the closet and taunt me to put them on. Is it still "cool" to wear them?

I suppose I could pick up a recent GQ magazine and see if any of those hipsters are wearing snakeskin boots. But I'm not metro enough to buy GQ. Sense my quandary?

I have a pair of Nocona boots in snakeskin as well, but I haven't worn them in a long time. Nowadays when I see someone wearing snakeskin boots, it's usually a dandy all done up for - what, I don't know, as the sightings seem to take place in Wal Mart

Cowboy boots have been in style for over 130 plus years. Just make sure you put some conditioner on them before you go out in the rain.
